UpHostly provides web hosting — a service that allows multiple websites to run on server infrastructure. Our Starter and Pro plans include website storage, bandwidth, a control panel, free SSL certificates, and customer support as described on our Pricing page.
To order web hosting, select a plan and contact us through our website or support channels. We will guide you through account setup, domain configuration, and getting your website online. You agree to provide accurate information during registration and billing.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, all activity under your account, keeping billing information current, and backing up your website data. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
You may not use our web hosting to violate laws, send spam, distribute malware, infringe intellectual property, host illegal content, or run processes that harm other customers on servers. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy.
Because you share server resources with other customers, excessive CPU, memory, disk I/O, or bandwidth usage may result in throttling, a request to upgrade, or account suspension. We monitor usage to maintain stable performance for all customers.
Hosting fees are billed according to your selected billing cycle (monthly or yearly). Promotional pricing may apply to the initial term; standard renewal rates apply afterward. Failure to pay may result in suspension. Contact us within 30 days of initial purchase to discuss refund eligibility.
We target 99.9% uptime for our web hosting infrastructure. We provide 24/7 support for hosting-related issues via email and our contact form. Scheduled maintenance may occasionally affect availability.
While we may perform periodic server-level backups, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups of website files, databases, and email data. UpHostly is not liable for data loss caused by user error, third-party software, or service interruptions.
All UpHostly branding, website content, and platform software remain our property. You retain ownership of content you upload. You grant us a limited license to host your content solely to provide the services.
We may suspend or terminate your account for Terms violations, non-payment, or security risks. You may cancel at any time by contacting support. Upon termination, export your data before access is revoked.
Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, UpHostly shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify UpHostly from claims arising from your use of the services, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
